The Road in Summer

When does a picture become more?
Marie Leclerq is a reclusive, self-described “picture maker” who resists the title of artist, capturing everyday moments in vibrant yet minimalist scenes. Using her iPad, she creates digital images that are printed onto canvas, portraying ordinary moments with a quiet simplicity.
Critics remain skeptical, dismissing her refusal to seek deeper artistic meaning as simplistic and lacking substance.
